AMY K. BELL writes fiction and poetry. Her chapbook, Book of Sibyl (thegorillapress.com) explores the history of the ancient prophetesses alongside the role of a woman's political voice. She studies writing at San Francisco State University's MFA program and lives in Oakland.

PAUL OCAMPO earned a Master of Arts degree in Asian American Studies at UCLA and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing at Arizona State University. He coedited the anthology Veterans of War, Veterans of Peace with Maxine Hong Kingston.

MARYGRACE BURNS recently graduated from the MFA Poetry Program at Mills College in Oakland, where she negotiated what Disney Princesses, Depression, and Filipino monsters meant to her. With this degree, she hopes to one day fulfill her childhood dream of being The Little Mermaid.

VON TORRES is pursuing his MA in Creative Writing at SF State. He teaches Filipina/o American studies through Pin@y Educational Partnerships. His writing intersects growing up in California’s Central Valley, the immigrant experience, living in the city, and the land before time. Join his thesis writing journey on his blog.
