*** About TAYO: “Tayo” is the Tagalog word for "we" or "us," and "to stand up." TAYO Arts & Culture is a non-profit community arts organization whose mission is to advance the understanding of the diverse cultural identity of Filipino Americans. With an annually published arts and literary journal, TAYO Literary Magazine, and its monthly online component, along with TAYO readings and events, TAYO Arts & Culture is dedicated to the creation, cultivation and promotion of Filipino-American arts and culture.
